I have never encounted someone who did that. My Confirmation was good. My standout memory was that I cried minutes before entering the Church because I lost this delicate little pearl bracelet my brother (Confirmation sponsor) gave me as a gift moments before. But my teacher consoled me and I found it afterward. I am very sorry that someone that you grew to idol was involved in such a scandal, but I am glad he lead you to finally participate in such a beautiful sacrament. My Confirmation was like most other Confirmation stories, but favorite story to tell from it was when the Bishop was asking our class questions to see if we really were ready to receive that sacrament, he asked us, "What did the disciples call Jesus?"
