My first image represents challenging the beauty myth because of the reference to the difference between no-makeup and makeup up the side with makeup and sleek hair is what society expects of women and how they are supposed to look every single day. The no-makeup and messy braided hair pay attribute to the messy side of being a woman and challenge the idea that women need to be perfect 24/7.  The second image I chose portrays familial homophobia because when the image of a picture-perfect family comes into play any concept that destroys that image will be looked down upon and outcasted out. Typically coming out to your that you are homosexual to your pristine image of a family, is unheard of because of the fear to be different, which ultimately creates a certain form of homophobia. The image of the white man represents to me what a stereotypical man looks like in society. The last image displays Tom Brady, who I think captures the essence of a stereotypical athlete.
