From researching major and indie record labels in the music industry, I have acknowledge how major record labels are able to access a wider range of resources as compared to indie record labels. This has allowed major record labels to produce products of a higher quality, distribute their products on a wider scale, more marketing etc. As I have establish 141 music as a major record label, I wanted to follow this convention of major record labels. Thus,
- I have abided to the high quality production in my music video by using professional equipment
- The synergy included in my social media pages are widely popular shows/ corporations (eg. The tonight show, Tik Tok)

Role of record labels:
I have also noticed from my research on how the existence of record labels behind an artist was stressed through the use of repeated motifs. Hence, I followed this convention by repeating the logo of 141 music as much as I can throughout my products, seen in:
- The opening insert of my music video
- Hashtags of #141music on each post for my social media page
- Repeating the logo on every page of the digipak design
