I’ve been listening to the Indian perspective podcast which was loaded by Raju and his cousin Mandeep. In this podcast, they talk about what they love and don’t like about India and Indian culture shock. For western people, India is an interesting place, especially in Mumbai. There’s only one dollar that can buy a lot of delicious food. They love it so much to Delly which there is beautiful historical architecture 1500 years old. They call it a spiritual land. Indian people are casualness. It’s very different from western people so that is shocked for Mandeep. And if you buy something you can’t bargain for what you’re buying. And also when buying food you should match what they make. If you request a different form such as the food they’ll be confused. But the most think shocked for Mandeep the is a business culture there. Indians use the idea of community. They think about production value and work together as a unit. But in India, still much pollution and no clean bathrooms. They hope that the matter will be resolved soon.

I agree with them. India is a beautiful place and full of culture. But most of indians now have wear a casual clothes for everyday. I don’t know how taste of food in India because I’m haven’t go there. I hope can go to india for many beautiful things.

Reflection (50 words or more): What you have learned or the problems you have during extensive listening, how did you deal with to solve the problems

The speakers speak rapidly and speak clearly. but I had enough trouble understanding what was said by the speaker because I hadn’t quite mastered the meaning of the English vocabulary. Especially when this speaker spoke a word I had never heard before. And this is how I can only keep one listening journal. I’m very struggling with it. Until I repeated the podcast. In order to solve it, I write down the difficult vocabulary at book and to translate it I used the digital dictionary app name is U Dictionary.
