A very warm welcome to all our incoming First Years!

We are delighted that you are joining the Presentation College Headford community, and we are really looking forward to getting to know each and every one of you.

Starting secondary school is a big step. You might be feeling excited, nervous, curious, or a little bit of everything — and that is completely normal! Remember, you are not expected to know everything on your first day. There will be lots of people here to help you, support you and make sure that you settle in.

Over the coming weeks and months, you will meet new friends, discover new subjects, take part in activities, learn new skills and have lots of opportunities to get involved in school life.

💙 A few things to remember

• Be yourself — you don't need to change who you are to fit in.

• Be kind — a smile, a hello or including someone can make a huge difference.

• Don't be afraid to ask for help — asking questions is a strength, not a weakness.

• Give things a go — you might discover a talent or interest you never knew you had!

• Make mistakes — nobody gets everything right, especially when they are learning something new.

• Look out for each other — you are now part of the Presentation College Headford community.
