Virginia decision (1960) was a Supreme Court ruling that declared racial segregation in public transportation, like buses and bus terminals, illegal. Bruce Boynton was arrested for sitting in a "whites only" area, and the Court said states couldn't enforce segregation in places that are meant to serve everyone. This decision was important for black people gaining more rights.
