The top 10% in the career make about $104, 340.
4. Most of the workers in this field are women but the top workers are more likely to be male. The gender would not change my mind since I want the job to help people but it is a bother when it comes to gender inequality pay. In the field of psychology, no matter the position, there is a wage gap about $20,000. Now I think I'm going to lie and say I am a male (in reality I'm just joking, I like being a girl).

The typical day for a psychologist would vary but what would usually happen is that they would start with getting the files ready for the patients they are going to meet that day (usually about 5 per day). After meeting with the clients, they would have to do more paper work and be detailed with what is going on with the client since that is what the insurance companies will want. Sometimes days can last up to 12 hours since some clients have difficult disorders.

This job reflects my interests in how the mind works and why we have emotions and what chemicals they come from I will learn while getting my degree in psychology. It will also help me to deal with people's problems because at the moment, I feel like I can not really help others with their situation because I am awkward and I usually do not know how to help but supposedly by me just being a listener helps others. And that is my goal. To be able to help people through my words and by being their listener, someone that gives them attention.
