In today’s world people teachers or instructors must know who they are teaching and where they come from such as about their respective communities, cultures, and families. Throughout time Social Justice Education plays a role of planning to teach ahead of time is key to having the most critical and engaging school year. A social justice classroom is one that is critical in nature, thus, we should be constantly encouraging students to question the world around them as well as the schools they attend. If we truly want to change the world we live in, education is the best place to start. Considering the rapid transformation of the United States socially, culturally, racially.
https://www.edweek.org/ew/articles/2019/01/23/what-is-social-justice-education-anyway.html

In another article it speaks about public education and how it is the promise to future generations that hard work and learning can change circumstances. Public education is the great equalizer. Without public education us as people as a community would not know how to interact with others or speak to others. The article states "As the director of a teacher-education program, one of my primary goals upon stepping into this role was building a vision that honors social justice teaching and learning practices". It also states "We must knock on every door of our legislators, engage our communities, and defend what we do in our classrooms at a fierce level of passion because if we don't, the billionaire corporations will laugh all the way to the bank while the promise to future generations of equality and opportunity will ring hollow."
https://www.nysut.org/news/nysut-united/issues/2015/march-2015/public-education-the-social-justice-issue-of-our-time

In the next article it speaks about our collective failure to provide a quality education fundamentally undermines the human dignity of our students. Throughout the article it also says not preparing the learners for a possible college career by assigning them to underperforming teachers or principals in failing schools restricts the path that they may wish to choose in life. This basically shows and tells you that the educators and instructors play a big role with Social Justice Education .
https://blog.ed.gov/2011/08/education-is-social-justice/
