On the 12th of September we received our Junior Cert results. To be honest the Junior Cert was very irrelevant to me and although i wanted to do well it didn't bother me. Once it was around 11 o'clock we were all told to go to the hall. A lot of people were quite anxious and there was a lot of tension in the hall corridor as we waited until someone came and let us in. Once we got into the hall we were split up and I was the first person to receive my results from Ms.Heffernan. I went over to the corner and opened them up nervously. Overall I was very happy with the outcome and don't think I could've done any better. My parents picked me up then and I went for breakfast with my girls from Clontarf. They all did really well and were also very happy with themselves. I was then really excited to go out with my friends that night. My sister did my makeup and we all got ready at Anna's house. I had a good night.

We left for skiing on the 11th of February. I had to be in the airport for 4:15 am which was tough going as I love sleeping. I was very excited though because I hadn't been skiing in a couple of years. The airplane journey was not too bad and we landed in Bergamo airport. we then had about an hour bus journey to Milan which wasn't too bad. When we arrived myself, Lucy, Kiva and Ellen had a nice little wander around the city and did a bit of shopping. We were all starving then so we found a lovely little restaurant and sat down for some food. I had the most beautiful pasta I have ever eaten in my life and I still think about it to this day. I was also on the hunt for plum cakes which i couldn't find anywhere and was very upset but i was determined to find them throughout the trip. I then had to look forward to a lovely four hour bus journey, without 3G. I managed to cope but it was testing me. We finally arrived at the hotel, everyone was exhausted. I was put into a room with some smelly girls.... Lucy, Kiva and Ellen. We were chuffed we all got into the same room. It was great!! Every day we had to wake up at around 7:30 o'clock and go down for breakfast. The breakfast was nice, not the best but could've been worse. Once we had all finished eating we head out for our first day of skiing. We were all really excited as it had been a long day of travelling so it was really nice to finally be there. we got fitted for our boots, skis and helmets and were then split up into the different groups. I was first put into the beginners group and our instructor was called Larry. He was from Croatia and was really funny but fancied Ms.Mcginn and Ms.Mccarthy. we had 2 lessons everyday and our lunch inbetween

On the 17th of September we travelled to Larch Hill for outdoor pursuits. When we arrived we were split into groups and we went on a kind of treasure hunt around the area. It was actually quite difficult and we didn’t get to finish it. Then our group was the first group to go on the hike and then camp afterwards. The hike was very tiring and I really did not enjoy it but that’s because I’m lazy. We got to a part of Larch Hill and thats where we were staying for the night. We had to pitch tents to sleep in. Myself and Julia were in a tent together. We then got our food and got into the tents for the night. It was pouring rain and there was loads of bugs in our tent. Wasn’t the best. The next morning we got up really early and couldn’t wait to get back to the camp place. We eat our breakfast and we got ready for the activities that day. We did archery, different team building games and an assault course in the air. The assault course was too scary for my liking so I got down and didn’t do it cause I was too afraid. We had lunch and got to chill in the camp site. Later on in the night we did some more games and then went to sleep. On the last night there was a big bonfire and we all sang songs and eat some food. We had a great night. Although I had a great time I was very excited to get home and have a nice shower and get into my bed.
