  • Using your white board and dry erase marker, write and show the numbers 24 and 31.


    • Remember, use tall rectangles to represent your tens place and small squares to represent the ones place.


    1. Add them together and show the sum!

    Check with a friend! Are they the same?

    1. With your partner, or another friend, create news numbers to add using tens and ones. I will be around to check as you create!
