His diet, social skills and friendships don’t seem to suggest another disorder such as autism. he prefers physical play, could be because he doesn’t have the language skills to take part in imaginative games, running around requires less talking. Mum worked as a nurse so can assume a level of parental education & language heard at home. Is this because their speech and language delay could be solely due to a co-existing medical condition ? such as autism?
