  • National Library of Virtual Manipulatives is a large library of math manipulatives. These are virtual objects like number likes and blocks that let kids solve math problems in different ways. The library is broken down by grade and by topic. For instance, if kids pick grade Pre-K - 2 this will find different manipulative that can help them with their math problems. This will easily help students find the area they need help with the addition of the manipulative. It is also very interactive so it keeps the students focused on the problems.

  • WebMath is a website that provides a variety of templates for different areas of math and specific sections for each area you need help in. For instance, if you need help in Algebra with graphing hyperbolas, you simply click the Algebra area and search for graphing hyperbolas. This website will provide students with different equations on how to work these problems out. It also provides students with step by step instructions on how to work certain problems out.

  • Geogebra is a website that provides an online graphing calculator. This allows students to type in an equation and the tool graphs it on the virtual graph paper. This website allows students to be interactive in their algebra problems and does not provide much memory needed. It may be a little difficult at first but write out the problems but this provides students with a visual for each problem.

  • Algebra Concepts for Ipad is an app that you can download that costs $1.99. This app is targeted for 7th graders to upper grades who want to learn Algebra. This app includes Algebra Notebooks and covers topics such as variables and expressions, properties of real numbers, solving equations, polynomials, and factoring polynomials. In each notebook there is an explanation of each topic using visual examples. This app is helpful for students because it provides visuals throughout the Algebra Notebooks for students who struggle in math.

It helps students with math problems from elementary all the way up to high school classes such as calculus, algebra, and statistics. This app replaces your graphing calculator, helps with homework, and assists you in any kind of way. This helps students in a variety of ways although the app does cost a lot. This is an interactive app so students can stay focused on the content and will not get distracted by external stimuli.
