How were the American Revolution and the French Revolution they same? How they were different?

They are both the same because they both were inspired by the Enlightenment ideas of the Enlightenment thinkers. They both have their own written constitutions. Another similarity s that they won their revolutions. The differences between them are that they went to war for different reasons. The American Revolution started because America wanted independence from Great Britain. France wanted a fair government. America declared war on other countries unlike france.
