The students in the video prefer to be taught using technology, but many students abuse the carefully thought out lessons to play games or use social media.

Students prefer technology. I know that I have some students that do not have access at home. That's a problem.

I liked that they knew the world is dynamic and they are going to need to know how to use the technology for their future jobs...even if they don't know what those possible non-existent jobs are yet.

I would love to engage them digitally, but it's a little difficult when they are grounded from their phones, "can't access" the wi-fi, or have already used their data for the month.

I also would love new ways to engage, other than just completing a Google Doc or Slide.

Is this really how all kids feel, or do they just want to get on their devices to go to Mindcraft, snapchat or other things that they LIKE to do?
