I come from a country where traditionally produces and drinks a lot of wine and beer, but the form of tradition is exaggerated, since people often do not have the limit on drinking alcohol, and that is why there are many traffic accidents and family tragedies in our country.
I hope that in Guadeloupe this kind of tradition is really limited to festivals and holidays and of course not overdosed.

Talking today about customs and traditions made me think about the definition of these two words. If you read the explanation carefully you will notise that they both can be described as culture - fluid, changing, adopting and adjusting.

We learned about "chacun prépare sa propre mort" each prepares his/her own death. The original Ti' Punch is not prepared for you. Instead the host will simply place all the ingredients, and everyone can mix their own drink. This isso everyone will get a drink that appeals to their own taste.

We also saw the mangrove, trees and bushes from many different plants and families, that have adapted them selves to grow in saltwater in tropical and subtropical coastal areas.

We did spend a lovely day at the Caribien seaside. The nature with all the specific birds and trees was really magnific. Green trees without any connection to the earth, with 2 kind of roots! Nature is so clever, it will always beet buman beeings.
It protects the diversity by many means.
The lagun combining the salty and sweet water provides nutrition for different kind of life. Thank you for showing me this part of Guadeloupe

This sunday in Guadeloupe was awesome. We spent the whole day outside and learnt about the treasures of the nature. On a Robinson Crusoe island we tasted the ti'punsch which is a traditional drink from Guadeloupe. At the beginning of the harvest we celebrate the cabbage festival in my hometown. As a tradition you can try everything made of cabbage there- lasagne, bread, icecream, chocolate and even schnaps.

It was such a great day in such a pleasant company. Great talks and fun and harmony in rich and peaceful biodiverse nature. The ship wreck snorkeling showed me that every creature (animals and human beings and plants as well) can always adapt to changing environments or situations. Change is always meant to be good for something. And we have to believe in a positive outcome like the colorful and great fish and corals complementing each other around the wreck.

I would love to add one of Silvia’s underwater pics here... will follow
