I'm Alexis, I am 21 but look way younger then 21. I'd consider myself as a kind, determined, and independent person. I am picky with who I hang out with but love hanging with the family and friends I have. I love the connections I have with them and hope to learn more techniques to making more connections like those along my journey in life, along with helping others with any physical pain, because I know how it feels to think you can't move a muscle because of the pain, I'm here to let people know that pain, is temporary. Keep moving, even if it's slow movements, it'll improve over time.

A hobby I have is exercising, running, lifting, and home workouts give me motivation to keep working on myself. Also taking care of my little nephews and siblings, kids in general, kids are more straight forward and very honest, this would be the part I like about them. I also like drawing from time to time, sometimes I'll have random pictures in my head and just draw what I see. My drawings usually have some sort of sadness to it, I just think sadness could be a beautiful thing if you make it.

Current professions?

I don't think I have any professions at the moment. I'm still working on the things I think I can be good at, and that's being able to connect with people at a professional level of being a physical therapist. Consistently finding solutions to physical pain in the human body. I find myself, having the back left spinal pain from a hit-n-run me and a friend were in, she recovered from a sprained ankle and cuts, but we recovered in a month, although my bruises took a little longer, and it was painful. Recovery felt important, being able to move comfortably felt needed and I care about a lot of people who do have tightened joints or sprained muscles after recovering from any accidents or painful situations. I want to help and need to learn better ways to make sure they get a faster recovery. So when i see someone else in pain I know what needs to be done and what can be done to help. In now cases, I work at a Boys and girls club and the kids get hurt, I think letting them know that if it's still moving but painful, over time small movements everyday it'll get better. I also think the same about life. Small movements small or big movements to what ever you want in life will be affective in the long run. and if you think doing nothing is good, it'll be a slow recovery. But I'm here to let those people know to keep going.

My dream job would consist of exercising and connecting with people to connect and find different strategies to help resolve physical pain in the body. I know that this would have to do a lot with the mind, sometime we get stick in this mindset of where we think we can't do a certain thing because of how much it hurts or the feeling isn't the best but, if we push past those thoughts and keep making movements, even if it's small. In the long run it'll all add up and you'd be able to bring strength to that part of the body, weather it be the mind or body.

Favorite Book?

My favorite book has been No Escape, The writer's name is Charlie Higson. This one talks about how these kids have to survive adults that turned into zombie like creatures eating each other because of a lab that made I believe soda that went bad. They had plans of leaving the city they lived in and make it outside of town where there was less "grown ups" (they referred it to the zombie-like creatures since it was grown ups who manly caught the virus). There were these groups of kids in different areas of the city and they connected together after going around different buildings to gather supplies. There was this one kid who ended up being half zombie and half human in a museum that they thought was safe. Which made him like mutant, so he hide from the rest of the kids. The zombie part was like a demon telling him to eat all the other kids, the human part always knew it was wrong but had a hard time controlling the thought because he was hungry, to the point of where he thought it was himself thinking kill them for food. He also had thoughts of helping the kids that survived but the zombie part of him convinced him that they wouldn't care about him but try to kill him too. so he stayed hidden and killed kids who came near him. he soon started to kill more and more so the others new it was time to leave. After they made it out they had to deal with zombies along the way to the outskirts of their city. One one kid made it.

I know that there are little voices in everyone's mind that tell them from wrong to right. It's just your choice to listen to them or not, and fighting the negative thoughts are hard, I know. But the more you fight them, the more you become stronger and stronger the more it becomes easy to defeat them.
