Including our behaviors and how we act as a community. 
Ethnicity- 8/28/18 I think that ethnicity, other than your race, also is described as groups that you can relate to. For example, I can relate to those who are diabetic and who are female.
Diversity- 9/12/18 I think of diversity as being multiple different things; not narrowed down to just one category.
Social Class- 9/12/18 Social class refers to individuals/groups economic level of income.
Gender- 9/12/18 Gender doesn't only refer to a specific individuals biological sex, but also how they view themselves.
Equity-  9/12/18 Equity is the idea of providing a student the necessary tools they need in order to improve and excel.
Race- 9/27/18 When others are placing people in a category based on their skin color or other physical features. 
Racism- 9/27/18 I think that racism of when someone of another ethnicity or culture is discriminated against for being another ethnicity or culture.
Institutional Racism- 9/27/18 Practices that are designed in order to keep a specific group, or a "more powerful" group, in charge.  
Sexual Orientation- 11/24/18 Sexual orientation is related to the gender of the people that you are attracted to.

Culture- I still believe that culture is described as your ethnicity, beliefs, and traditions along with our behaviors in our community. I would also include language, religion, and customs.
Ethnicity- I think that ethnicity, other than your race can include other groups you relate to. Ethnicity also can be described as the culture background of a person.
Sexual Orientation- What gender you are attracted to, bother physically and romantically. If I was explaining this to younger kids I may bring up different orientations other than heterosexual to expand their knowledge on the topic.
Equity- I still believe that equity is the idea of providing children with the necessary tools that they need to improve and excel. Each student is placed in an environment where they are supported and feel welcomed to participate.
Social Class- Refers to individuals/groups economic level of income. I think it can also include educational status as well. Social class can affect your students in the classroom along with their families.
Gender- Not only narrowed down to male and female. Also refers to the feels an individual experiences with biological sex and behaviors of the person.
Race- Race is when others are placing people in a category based on their skin color or other physical features. Can be both similarities and differences.
Racist- Someone who discriminates against another because of their race. Thinks that a specific race is superior to another.
Institutional Racism- Practices that are designed in order to keep a specific group, or a "more powerful" group, in charge. 
Racism- Prejudice based on physical features. Someone from another ethnicity or culture is discriminated against for being another culture or ethnicity. Also seen as superiority over another group. Not being treated equal or someone being excluded.
Diversity- I think of diversity as being multiple different things; not narrowed down to just one category.
