After the squirrel spoke, Toby confusingly spoke, "But I like to chase squirrels." Then the squirrel answered, "I am no ordinary squirrel. I am a flying squirrel!"

Toby lives at the bottom of the tree because some trees have a lot of space inside. The trees were built by the dogs friends the squirrels. They live in the middle of the forest because the forest has a lot of trees to live in. He lives there with his friends but his friends like living in the forest but Toby doesn’t like living in the forest. Toby and his friends always like getting nuts from the trees. Toby was said because he wished they he had his owner back because his owner died three years ago.

He loved the smell of the forest, especially first thing in the morning. He could almost taste the fresh, leafy goodness on his slobbering tongue as he dangled it out of his yawning mouth.He could hear a rustling noise coming from nearby; one of the others was awake. You see, Toby wasn’t the only dog that lived in the forest…His very good friend Poppy lived next door. Toby and Poppy have been friends for over 7 and a half years since his owner abandoned him in the forest in 2012. Toby was confused, miserable and lonely until he found Poppy a week later. A very kind man who lives nearby in a small cosy self built hut, who didn't have a lot of belongings, is Poppy's owner,the wood chopper. He is a big friendly hairy giant, who has large hard working hands, a good heart and kind face. He built their houses in the forest with old wood cuttings that he had chopped from a tree. He was about to go out to find something to eat but on his first step he stopped because there layed a glorious, deliciously looking bone waiting to be eaten right at that moment Toby's mouth started to water. He grabbed the bone and sucked all of the good, juicy parts out of it until there was no longer anything left. He still felt hungry though but right as he was thinking about what he could eat next a tiny, little butterfly landed on his tiny, cute shiny nose. As quick as a flash, Toby was after the butterfly he stopped for a silent moment because the butterfly moved onto his tongue. Suddenly, he shut his mouth and the butterfly was gone. At last Toby was finally full but he had lost his way home. This way he thought wait no that way he thought. To be continued..........
