         <description><![CDATA[<div>Imagine you are a broke college student and you read in the news paper that if you participate in this study you will receive 15 dollars a day that's about 75 dollars today <br><br>to insure informed consent the participants were informed about the nature of the study <br><br>then after filling out anyone with a criminal background or any ongoing medical and mental health issues they had 24 average college students completely random volunteers </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>the prison was setup using old classrooms on campus, they built cells and designed it to look as much like a prison as they could they even had someone on their team of psychologist who had been to prison before the used the classrooms as cells in the basement and the men were actually on the campus of the school they attended everyday </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>randomly they selected half of the men to be prisoners and half of the men to be guards at the beginning they told the guards they were chosen to be guards to be special this was just the icing on the cake when it came to the guards feeling as if they had some special authority even though this was all fake<br> </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>the prisoners were kept in their cells and the guards would take shifts, for two weeks the prisoners were belittled, tormented an yelled at by the guards as it would be in a prison they had rules and punishments while all of this was going on the team of psychologist was in a room watching film of all of this <br><br>the only rule was nobody was to be physically touched (although this was violated ) <br><br>for two weeks the prisoners received terrible food and were locked in their cells while their peers were in charge of them they also got minimal time in the yard along with a "punishment closet" for bad behavior or rebellion </div>]]></description>
