I think birds are smart because they use different materials and there mind. The text states,"The crow drops stones into the pitcher. This raises the water.Another example is,"The scientists found that mockingbirds are able to recognize people who have threatened their nests before." This shows that birds can do complex stuff that humans can do.To sum things, up birds can use different materials and there mind to do what they want to do.

I think that birds are smart because they use their minds to achieve what they want to do. The text states"when the water was to low the birds put them in the but the water is too low for the bird to reach." the text also states "The crow drops stones into the pitcher.""This means that the bird thinks to put them in the jar. To sum things up, birds are smart because they put their mind to do what they want to do.

I think birds are smart because they know how to get there food when it is traped. According to the text "A crow needed water. He found a pitcher, but it had little water inside. The crow could not reach the water. So he got some stones. He dropped the stones in the pitcher. This brought the water up. Finally, he could reach it. The crow drank the water." this shows that birds are able to get food some how with it getting stuck. Another reason is that the text states "
Scientists have also studied crows. They saw them using tools. You'll see a crow using tools. this shows that crows can use tools if food is traped. All in all birds can get there food when it is traped.

Yes I think birds are smart. I think they are smart because the article said,

Bird and Emery said the experiment showed that rooks can solve complex problems using tools. The animals appeared to be smarter than scientists had thought." The experiments showed that birds were smart enough to use rocks to make the water rise to get the worm. The article said, "Each bird used the stone-dropping trick on its own." I never realized birds were actually smart.

I think birds are smart because they can do things to get something like water. The text states, " The crow drops stones into the pitcher. This raises the water". This shows, that the bird wanted the water so it thought of a way to get the water. The text states,The animals appeared to be smarter than scientists had thought". This shows that the scientists even think that the animals are smarter.

I think birds are smart because they know that if you drop something heavy into water the water will rise up enough to either drink the water or get something out of it. Some other birds can tell if they've seen them before like if someone intrudes their nest they see the person. If the person comes back the bird knows who it was. This shows that birds are smart.

I think birds are smart because they are able to use tools. The text states, "Other experiments had shown that rooks are smart enough to use tools." This shows that they are smart enough to use these kinds of tools because they are getting rocks out of tubes with getting help from someone. This proves that because some people might not even know how to do it and the birds do it without even knowing what to do. To sum things up birds are really smart.

I think birds are smart because they are able to use tools. The text states, "The birds soon learned that stones would not raise the sawdust level." This means that they are smart because they are smart enough to know that the sawdust would not work after a couple tries. This proves that birds are smart because they are smart enough to learn something after they just start something. All in all birds are smart.

I do think birds are smart because they can get a worm from a narrow tube without any help. According to the article, “Each bird used the stone dropping trick without being promted. This shows that the birds know what to do to get the worm.

I consider birds to be intelligent because you can train them.Like in the article birds were using stones and sticks to get their food and in the video double02 had to face 8 challenges and he passed so he/she is smart for a bird but that might not be all birds. Stil all the birds used the trick to get the worm so I consider birds smart.
