A situational irony in the song is when the artist encounters almost like a demon/monster within himself but rather than finding it scary he finds it beautiful.

Since in society, mental health can be seen as being misunderstood and not important.

I think one intended audience of this song is someone going through a dark time, DPR IAN’s inspiration while creating his art from his dark side, it helps how we feel, for DPR IAN it helped him feel the things he was afraid of to help him feel and to help others to sometimes embrace being uncomfortable for them to really peak their limits and reach things that that they are good at. When he finally comes out of his realm and first steps into his reality. He has seen everything wrong, all the darkness and the negative energy surrounding him and surrounds the world, but instead of shunning that away he turns it into something very beautiful. This song was heavily influenced by the idea that a lot of the times what we label “monsters” as monsters to be scary or wrong, are usually the most that are misunderstood. When you first see him in his true form in the music video there is something very eerie and creepy about it, but he has a type of dark beauty aura i don’t know how it makes any sense but he had to make it so others can relate.
He said it was very important to him as a lot of his inspiration while creating art comes from the dark side. 
In one of his lyrics he says “lets take a trip down a dark place baby , look for me now I’m not that crazy, lets talk about what makes you happy, cause i know.”
I think we can all relate we have all been in a dark place but for DPR IAN to use all the negative and dark energy surrounding himself and the world, but, instead he turned that it something very beautiful. 

Individuals in this population would be drawn to this song because we can all relate, use your pain and turn into power and you can achieve whatever you put your mind to.
