         <title>2-The Owens river &amp;nbsp;started from the southern tip of the &amp;nbsp;Long Valley Caldera &amp;nbsp;gathering water from multiple streams . This valley region supported more than 2,000 plants species and 320 birds species and fostered a wealthy microenvironment. The first place to be consider for govt sponseted irrigation system was the owens valley and would lead to agriculture in the area. Implying speeches and interviews superintendent and major of los angeles William Mulholland and Frederick Eaton wanted support for the water project. The farmers wouldve benefited insread Eaton bought the land &amp;nbsp;and the reclamation project was canceled. Eaton then sold the land to los angeles and the first acqueduct was build. Water was needed for los angeles and the acqueduct needed to pull water form the owens river.</title>
