The Feudal Society is having loyalty to one's lord. This is the main rule to simplify the society. To be accepted by the society there needed to be a public ceremony. This ceremony mad the typical man into a vassal. Vassals who held fiefs started to hold political authority as well. This is where many people incharge became responsible for the land and the people. However, problems arose when there was complications between the vassal and the lord. This is where the feudal contract came into play (unwritten rules).
