One of the main initiatives of Azerbaijan has been and is to become fully independent in terms of the Karabakh conflict. Thus, one of our initiatives is also to increase the volume of export-import in all areas of trade cooperation between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan. During the first seven months of 2021, the trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan has been amounted to approximately 62 million dollars in total; We are aiming to increase this amount while also improving the relations of Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan to much better conditions. Another global initiative of ours is to promote a condition of peace within the territories of Caucasus; A formation of a safety zone for Azerbaijan and other nations like Kazakhstan to have a safe environment for peace to be implied.

It is important to pay attention from the society to the victims of nuclear poligons (Semey, Nevada) and to provide material support to them and their relatives
Our country suffered from the consequences of usage of nuclear weapons and thus we have to share our experience to prevent the repetition of these terrifying events.

Aside from the politics of the USSR to Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan is also having a similar problem right now. Armenia is having a nuclear plant which was build in the Soviet time. But the problem is they are still using the power plant even though it is outdated. It is both dangerous for Azerbaijan, Turkey, Georgia, Iran and the whole Caucasus region. The plant is also located on a moving tectonic plate. They have also storred their nuclear wastes in Karabakh region in last 30 years. Therefore Kazakhstan can support diplomaticly Azerbaijan and other regional countries to convince Armenia to close their nuclear plant.

Another step towards a nuclear-free world was made on August 29, 2012 in Astana (now Nur-Sultan). The capital of Kazakhstan hosted an international conference "From Banning Nuclear Tests to a World Free of Nuclear Weapons". The conference in Astana was held on August 29 - the day declared by the UN as the international day against nuclear tests. The head of state announced a number of key initiatives designed to automate the slowed-down process of strengthening global nuclear security. Among the proposals, the international project "ATOM" should be highlighted. The name of the project is composed of the first letters of four words in English (Abolish, Testing, Our Mission). Within the framework of the project, any person on Earth who is acting against nuclear weapons will be able to sign an online petition to the governments of the world calling for permanently abandoning nuclear tests and achieving the early entry into force of the Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty.

There is a nuclear test site in Armenia which has a dangerous impact on the Caucasus regions. Metsamor electric station needs to be abandoned because it is placed in a tectonic plate that is very cracked. Any kind of earthquake and it can result in a far more dangerous situation than what happened in Chernobyl which will affect the Caucasus region. The radioactive pollutants of this station have been buried under Karabakh regions like Lachin, Kelbecer, and Aghdere. Azerbaijan is willing to take initiative with the help of other countries and organizations to destroy this station.

No more hard power

Hard power has a lot of physical and psychological affects towards the people as it uses military power rather than diplomatic. Using violence and military against one another can cause a lot of problems not only to the people within the countries but also to future generations.

Armenia's dangerous Nuclear station

Armenia's Metsamor Nuclear Power Plant (EAES) consists of two blocks. The first unit of this station was commissioned in 1976, and the second unit in 1980. The station is located 28 kilometers in Yerevan, 16-60 kilometers between Turkey and Iran, and about 150 kilometers from Azerbaijan and Georgia. The annual demand for nuclear fuel for each of the units was 42 tons, and the service life was calculated for an 8-magnitude earthquake for 30 years. After the devastating earthquake in Spitak on December 7, 1988 (EAES is located 75 kilometers from the epicenter), the first and then the second block came to a standstill in early 1989.

Deciding to adopt the Armenian government in 2005, the construction of a new nuclear power plant in the country should be closed to the old nuclear power plant.

Numerous studies by American scientists can be completed, which provide more information about the oncology programs of the population, children and youth living permanently within a radius of 46 kilometers during the operation of the NPP. It is clear that during the operation of the Armenian nuclear power plant, citizens of the Republic of Turkey living in a 30 km radius of 46 km are also exposed to radioactive exposure.

On April 26, 1986, an accident occurred at the fourth unit of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant - the largest and most dangerous nuclear radiation accident of the twentieth century.
