¿Qué aprendí de esta tarea? R: Aprendí como hacer las estructuras gramaticales de las oraciones, aprendí vocabulario nuevo, como usar conectores para las oraciones y repasé el verbo to be.

¿Es importante lo que estoy aprendiendo? ¿Por qué? R: Si es importante porque ayuda a tener conocimiento de una segunda lengua para interpretar documentos y comunicarme con otras personas en mi entorno profesional.

¿Cómo aporta este aprendizaje a mi vida personal y profesional? R: Me ayuda aprender conceptos, vocabulario, estructura gramatical, y tener dominio sobre una segunda lengua lo cual me permite ser más competente a nivel laboral y a tener mejores oportunidades e ir por nuevos retos.

Revisé con regularidad los mensajes enviados por mi tutora, estudié y aprendí los temas sugeridos del E-Book, participé en el foro dentro de los tiempos indicados, adicional participe del foro de la tarea y la web conferencia del curso; todo esto me permitió aprender como hacer las estructuras gramaticales de las oraciones, aprendí vocabulario nuevo, como usar conectores para las oraciones, repasar el verbo to be y afianzar mis conocimientos de una segunda lengua para interpretar documentos y comunicarme con otras personas en mi entorno profesional. Lo cual es muy importante ya que aporta tanto a mi vida personal como profesional, ya que este aprendizaje me permite ser más competente a nivel laboral y a tener mejores oportunidades e ir por nuevos retos.

 

I lived in Medellin city, and I live in a medium apartment located inside urbanization with my wife and two dogs. My apartment has 2 bathrooms, 3 bedrooms, a living room, a dining room, a kitchen, and a laundry area. My apartment is medium, and it is nice. Inside my urbanization there are two swimming pools, there is a gym, there is a park for children, and there are 5 floors to a parking lot. Also, there is a social room to celebrate special dates.

 

I usually get up at 5 a.m. during the week. After that, I take a shower and eat breakfast at 5:30 a.m. I usually have breakfast arepa, cookies, egg, cheese, and chocolate. After, I get out of my apartment, and I walk to the parking lot, then take my motorcycle, and drive to get to work. I usually have lunch at 1 p.m. soup, rice, salad, meat or egg and I drink juice. When finishing my work, I go back home to my house at 5:30 p.m. And when I arrive home, I take virtual classes at the university. Finally, at night I usually have dinner at 7 p.m. I usually have dinner with rice or arepa with meat or eggs and I drink soda, and I go to bed at 11 p.m. 

 

On weekends I help my wife with the housework, I do my homework, and I go out to eat with my wife and my dogs. I study English twice a week and I dedicate approximately four hours 

In Medellin, there are many tourist places like the Metro, the Fernando Botero Museum, the electric stairs Comuna 13, the Park of the Pies Descalzos, and the Park of the Wishes. The typical food of my city is Bandeja paisa and Arepa, I love this food because Bandeja paisa is prepared with rice, beans, pork rinds, chorizo, egg, and ripe banana.

The main celebrations in my city are Feria de las Flores, Colombia Moda, the day of love and friendship in September, and the inauguration of public lighting in December. During these celebrations, people usually dance, eat, and spend time with their families.

In my city, visitors can do a tour of Comuna 13, dance in the pink zone of Medellin, and enjoy gastronomy.
