I was also doing some great research on how painting (especially finger painting!) can help some of the students with sensory difficulties! But I am also posting this as a reminder!! Please send your child to school with a smock of some sort or just an old t-shirt that you would not mind if it got paint on it. I am expecting it to get a little messy haha but that is just more fun! On this blog I want to keep on open form going, there are a lot of methods and ways to help you child with special needs and these methods seem to change by the hour. One method that is used fairly universally is RTI, which is a response team in making sure all children are getting the right kind of education. Some people think that it is not an appropriate way to diagnose your child but others disagree. Read this article and tell me what you think! I would love to hear your responses!
