It is made with cast iron and was infact used in the Crimean war. The Crimean war lasted from 1853-1856 and many men from Armagh and Ulster fought in this war with Queen Victoria's Armagh. This war was significant in terms of way of death as disease was the main killer during this war.

There are many of these gargoyle statues around the city, you just need to know where to look. Some locations are; The theatre, McCrums Court, the bank of ireland and the shambles market. The club has recently found glory winning the t20 Trophy and section 1 gaining promotion to the Premier league. In recent years Armagh Cricket club have had great success right throughout the club. With the 1st X1 winning a number of tropheys including the prestigious Junior Cup, this was the first time in the clubs histroy that they had won this competetion. Also, the 3rd X1 have won the Minor Qualifying Cup.

‘Turning Point’, Armagh 2012.The Turning Point sculpture is a Bronze Public Sculpture. It is a popular attraction with families as they enjoy having fun around the big globe.
This scluptures is a representation of the malls importance in Armagh. It was placed on The Mall as the mall would be the main hotspot and landmark in the city, in my opinion.
