The romanian traditional wedding contains more habits. One of them is `The little bride`. The groom comes to bride's house to take her to the wedding. At the gate of the house the groom is welcomed by bride's family, by the other guests and by a little girl dressed in a white dress. The groom is stopped by the little girl and the guests tell him that the little girl is his bride. After passing the little bride, the groom is stopped by an old bride that is, by a woman who claims to be his real bride. He realizes that the woman is not his real girlfriend and he is passing her. He waits outside until the bride's father leads his daughter and gives her to him on the condition that he will take care of her and protect her. The bride and groom go, then, accompanied by the guests, to the church to swear eternal love and faith in front of God.

Walking after the coils is an ancient tradition that has preserved its beauty to this day. This tradition takes place in winter, around Christmas. A lot of kids, young and old bring the news about The birth of the Savior, being rewarded by the hosts with coils that are often accompanied with apples, nuts or wine. In particular, coils are the most sacredly charged gift one can receive at Christmas. This beautiful gesture automatically connects the soul of the carolers with that of the host and vice versa.

On Christmas morning, all Christians go to church to attend the Liturghy Service. The service is more special because Christmas is an important holiday that brings joy to everyone through the Birth of the Messiah. At the end of the service, children sing a carol in front of the Christmas Tree and other people and are rewarded with sweets.

Caroling is an old Romanian tradition inherited from our ancestors. On the evening of Christmas Eve, children gather and go to people's homes to announce the Birth of the Savior. They sing a carol at the gate of the house, and the host listens to them and rewards them with candy, fruits or other sweets. The children pass by each house in the village and announce everyone about the big holiday. Even though it is very cold and snowing outside, children are happy to be able to spend time together and enjoy the magic of Christmas Eve.

Decorating the Christmas Tree is an international custom, but it is also valid in Romania. A few days before Christmas, Romanians are looking for the most beautiful decorations to decorate the Christmas Tree. Together with their family members, they decorate it to be closer to the magic of the celebration of the Birth of the Savior. Under the Christmas Tree are placed gifts for everyone, especially for children who are waiting for Santa Claus on Christmas Eve.

In the Romanian tradition, the sitting is a small gathering specific to the rural environment, which takes place on winter evenings. Those who participate in the sittings work, sing, tell stories and play certain social games. The annual cycle of sittings takes place after the end of the agricultural work. It begins before the Christmas fast and ends before the Easter fast. It is an old tradition, an assembly made up of people from the countryside, being called in some regions also "furcărie", "habă" , "habără" , or "sideancă" . In Hungarian it was called fonó (fork). It took place in winter nights, when it was spent working and telling stories, riddles and jokes.
