In 2000 he did some postgraduate work at South African School of Motion Picture Medium and Live Performance (Rhoda,1976). Rhoda got his inspiration from art history and youth street culture He is famous for photography, drawings, paintings and films. He uses urban walls as his canvases and expresses himself freely on the walls in an artistic manner (Rhoda,1976).

Robin Rhode uses anything to create a masterpiece. He makes use of different type of materials, objects and paint. To Rhoda art is not just picking up a brush and painting something, but the effort and thought you put into creating something or remake something and giving it new life and new meaning (Rhoda,1976).
