North Korea's Nuclear issue has been always hot popato. Nuclear crisis has been always a huge threat for peace of the world. NK keeps working on the Nuclear arms but few days ago, Kim Jung Un expressed his thoughts to talk to SK president about Nuclear abandonment for the first time. there is a upcoming North-South Korean summit soon, also first time mention about giving up abandonment positively. I could see a possibility of the unification without any violent methods through the conversation. for these reasons, it is very important not only for South Korean but also for other nations in several aspects.

we've been seperated for a long time and we have different ideals and perspective. but unification is important for developing our Country better. And we are the only one devided countries in the world now. because of the Nuclear crisis, SK's position and roll within a relationship between the U.S. and NK has been in a fix. Plus, the Nuclear crisis always ruined our relationships with other countries too .

both we have powerful nations allies. North: China, Russia etc.. South: America, Japan etc...
these nations intervene in a situation of divided countries. the issue between NK and SK affects these nations a lot in economically and militarily impacts. especially the U.S is the key of N.K and S.K issue in so many aspects.
for example
problem about launching issue THAAD arms in South Korea: the U.S. military strongly recommended to launch THAAD to protect bombs from NK, but China was upset for this happening because they thought that the U.S. will detect their country through these arms.
this situation caused troubles within the relationships with both countries and S.K.

I read the news that NK and SK's leaders will meet at the Joint Security Area (JSA) in April. This is the first time summit Kim Jeong Eun mentioned that there is some possibility to give up Nuclear weapons. since they made Nuclear weapons so that they broke a peace pact and relationship of SK, the relationships returned to the past when Korean War period. So this summit is very meaningful for both of us and for other allies too. I think It will be a great turning point for each countries.

I want to research more about this issue, is it able to be a first step toward peaceful unification without any wars. I'm not sure about reunification of Korean peninsula even though they will give up the Nuclear weapons, but still it sounds very positive for the future advanced relationship. There must be some obstacles such as cultural boundary (because we've been seperated for a long time, about 70years) and different ideals what we pursuade differently.

I've spent most of my life in South Korea and we've learned about NK is our enemy, and so do NK too to learn SK is their enemy. so I didn't really know why they started to make Nuclear weapons for what reasons and why they just kept developing the weapons.
this adverse perspective in a whole my life was interupting me to learn the REASONS. I've always cared about current provocative issues and facts what NK have done to use. Since I lived in the U.S. I could hear various perspective from my foriegner friends and realize that I've been very emotional toward the issue between NK and SK.
I hope to learn and research this T/Q as a same Korean as them and as a person who prefer peace in this peninsula. what is important with neutral attitude and what I need to remove from my adverse attitude toward NK. Moreover, I would like to find out the meaning of the upcoming North-South Korean summit with the mention about giving up Nuclear weapons.
however, N.K sometimes changed their official position since long time ago, so we need to be aware their past changed official states and attitudes too.
