My name is Heleni Christidi and I am a physical education teacher at the 1st Gymnasio (Junior High School) of Volos. I have taught for the last 18 years. I love my students and I want to give them new educational experiences through the National and European projects. Learning new cultures, meeting foreign civilizations, and understanding the differences under the common umbrella of European philosophy, are ways to create European citizens who respect the differences and are united under common perspectives and challenges.

My name is Gennaro Vassallo, and I am a special need teacher at the "F. De André" Secondary School in S. Stefano Magra (La Spezia). I studied Architecture at the "Federico II" University of Naples, the city where I was born and where I lived until the age of 26. As a young architect, I participated in the “DEVELOP 2020” Mobility Project (Lifelong Learning Program "Leonardo da Vinci") in Bordeaux, France, in 2015. That experience deeply impacted my life, both personally and professionally. For this reason, I was so glad when I was asked to take part as a teacher in the Erasmus+ "Save the Planet" Mobility Project in Volos. This experience was equally wonderful, because I connected with highly motivated colleagues and friends from different Countries. Most importantly, I saw in my students’ eyes immense joy and curiosity about discovering a new culture, a new school, and creating new friendships.

My name is Mari Carmen Ballesteros. As an English teacher, I have always known the importance of learning and mainly using the language in real and everyday situations. For many of them, it is the only way to interact with people from outside their boundaries, so let's help them to do it. I have been working in Erasmus projects since 2016, and the first Erasmus students from my school are now also teachers who remembered their experiences regarding these programmes. And for me, as teacher, these projects have helped me develop as a professional, because you learn from your colleagues. And also, I have grown personally, as now travelling to a foreign country doesn't scare me as I know I am going to meet fantastic people for sure.

The smiles and happiness of my students make me motivated and strong in this profession. My name is Nihal İnce Yüzer. I am a class teacher in Tuna İlkokulu. I also completed my master's degree at Yıldız Technical University. I teach to my lovely students and continue my academic-job since 23 years ago. I love researching, learning, producing and transferring these to my students. It is important for me to improve myself by sharing knowledge with my all colleagues internationally. In this manner; Erasmus+ projects have key-roles. I have lots of awards in terms of eTwinning projects. Via these kinds of EU projects and online-portals; my students can meet with European young learners both face to face and online. For these reasons, I force myself to get involved in different projects. I love these projects and friendships. Seeing different countries, getting to know different cultures and meeting different people is a great adventure for me.
