Irish novelist author of Dracula, classic and one of the most influential in horror literature. Son of a public servant, until the age of seven he suffered a severe paralysis that prevented him from walking. The health problems of his childhood did not prevent him from distinguishing himself as an athlete and footballer at the University of Dublin, where he completed the mathematics career with excellent results.

Son of Andalusian immigrants, he was the youngest of three brothers. He was orphaned during his childhood and was devoted to drawing from a very young age. They called him Quinones to distinguish him from his uncle. He studied at the School of Fine Arts at the University of Cuyo. He goes back to Buenos Aires and the weekly "This is" publishes his first page of graphic Humor. In 1964, his character Mafalda appears for the first time in the weekly primer Plana.
