My MT does more of group projects and individual presentations than formal tests, which the students appreciate as it is less stressful for them, but allows them to showcase their understanding.

My MT assesses whether the students have learned the lesson's success criteria through assignments and written responses. The students always have an assignment attached with each topic they learn, some are for marks while some are marked for completion and used to give students feedback.

In math classes, my MT gives out worksheets that cover the topic. Sometimes a graded assessment is due at the end of the period to see if the class has understood the lesson and who may be struggling.

My mentee does homework checks and the students are able to ask questions if they were confused.

My MT assess the students by giving them assignments around the topic they have learned. She uses the assignment to see what the students have learned and some assignments get marked to go on the report card while others are just kept as a record of the students learning and progress.
