This class is one of the 2 I have left before I begin student teaching and I am so excited about being "almost there"! I have 11 years of experience working with children in different environments as a behavioral therapist, nanny, speech program assistant and preschool teacher. I have an A.S. in veterinary technology and became a registered veterinary technician. I was employed in the veterinary world for 3.5 years as I was exploring career options. I moved from the bay area to Roseville last year. The only thing I really miss is the diversity. I definitely do not miss the traffic! We are currently having a house built near the American River. It's been a long process. I am married with one child and I share my house with two cats, two rabbits and a small dog. However, my mom and her big dog will be moving in with us at the end of the year. We are planning to go to Hawaii in December to celebrate her retirement and the (almost) end of school for me.
