Students will explore how skittles dissolve in water and observe what happens to the color and compare the differences between each color

Ask students to guess what they think will happen when you microwave a peep. Have students draw a before and after picture.

Gather some spring related items in muffin tin and place in the sun to see what melts. Students can each bring in something they would like to put in the muffin tin to see if it melts. This way parents can donate different objects and maybe muffin tins

Students will combine baking soda, white vinegar, glitter, and food coloring in a small black pot. They will start by adding food coloring and glitter into the pot, then add in baking soda, then add the vinegar and observe what happens.

Students will explore the inspiration trail (Trail located by Little Scholars Learning House) and go on a hunt for lucky coins. Each child will be accompanied by a parent or teacher. The teachers will place lucky coins along the trail for students to find. Students will use their coins to win prizes.

For accommodations, students will have a teacher at the table with them to help if they struggle. If students finish fast they can go to a Montessori rug or sensory bin. If students start to show big emotions, they may take a break in the cozy cove with a book.
