Body strength- it is the control in our body movements while performing a particular style. Control in body movements means flexibility, power and balance in movements.

Coordination- it means that while performing, all your movements should be linked to one another. It just doesn't mean being coordinated with your partner but it also means that your moves should be linked to each other and the transition from one move to the other should be done in a very smooth manner

Spatial awareness- this according to me means that you should be aware of your surroundings while performing. It means understanding your surrounding very deeply and forming your moves according to that and our relationship to the emplty spaces and objects around us.

dynamic content- Dynamics in dance add variety, interest and a wow-factor to the performance thereby engaging the auidence even more. These can include splits, backflips, jumps etc. depending on the style being performed

Rythymic accuracy- it means that the moves should go along with the rythym, the rythym can be fast or slow and the moves should be structured accordingly or else the performance is going to seem very offbeat.

Technical Skills
- Body strength --> Body strength describes the movements of our bodies whilst performing, depending on various factors, inclusive of balance, bodily power, and flexibility. Strength refers to the physical capability of the body, and the extent to which it can be controlled in order to execute the desired movement, through the application of particular aforementioned techniques.

- Control --> Control tends to indicate the restraint, or lack thereof, performers have on their bodies. Control works alongside the mentality of the performer, executing restraint according to the movement of the dancer. Control further ensures precision, which adds cleanliness and sharpness to the dance.

- Coordination --> Coordination in dance is not limited to coordination between body parts or motor skills. Coordination extends beyond the superficial bodily controls to demonstrate the connection between the mind and the body: the ability of the dancer to coordinate the visualised choreography to the final execution. Moreover, coordination between body parts ensures smooth transitioning from one step to another, or could allow the dancer to emphasise and isolate one particular body part as well. The ability to utilize body parts in unison displays the efficiency and control of the dancer as well, improving upon their stage presence and perhaps even bettering the dancer's coordination with external. factors, such as the music and other surrounding dancers.

- Spatial awareness --> Spatial awareness can be defined as the dancer's knowledge of the surroundings, as well as their capacity in adapting to unknown environments. Spatial awareness could refer to the dancer's personal awareness of the surroundings, in accordance to the available space and setting, while simultaneously describing the dancer's spatial interaction with other performers present.

- Dynamic content --> Dynamic content could essentially be described as the 'surprise element' of a performance, strategically placed to either break the monotony of a certain choreography, or to add to the momentum and create a transition. Dynamic movement further talks about the importance of differing elements in a choreography, such as speed, movement, rhythm, energy, weight, force, and direction.

-Rhythmic accuracy --> Rhythmic accuracy primarily discusses the manner in which a dancer perceives the rhythm of the music, and interprets it into their own choreography and movement. Though interpretations often tend to differ, based on personal choices as well as the dance form, the music remains constant, forcing the dancer to adapt in a way which works for the choreography in a flattering manner rather than being detrimental, displaying the significance of rhythmic accuracy.

-Temporal clarity --> Temporal clarity can often be coupled with rhythmic accuracy, talking about the dancer's techniques and perceptions with reference to the music and rhythm. Essentially, the tempo is the beat of the dance and music. Clarity is the dancers personal perception of the beat, and the lucidity of a dancer's mind when interpreting a song.

Body strength -
I believe that it is the ability to execute whatever comes in mind when dancing. It is the physical strength to be able to execute dance moves, in any form, with the required power, extent of flexibility and energy. One should have the strength to dance at various body levels, switch between textures, play with different speeds and explore beyond ones limit. One may be more flexible than strong, or the other way round, but we need to strengthen our bodies by working on where we lack.

Control -
Control refers to being able to switch between different textures, levels, and weight shifts in a clean manner. One should be able to control the extent to which their body is moving in accordance to how a particular move is to be done. For example, one should be able to control their kicks in, perhaps, a Jazz routine as instead of always kicking to the extent of your flexibility, some moves may require you to control the level of your kick. One should also be able to start and stop without a lag, without the presence of a preparation; that is good control.

Coordination-
This is the ability to move various body parts at the same time while they aren't necessarily doing the same thing. We should be able to maintain different parts of the music with different body parts. If one were to dance with just one body part at a time, it would look oddly empty, however, when we can coordinate various body parts to move in a manner that compliments one another. Coordination can be taken to an even higher level when we challenge our brains to do entirely different things with various body parts, or even two different things with the pair of the same body part, such as, doing two different movements or catching two different textures in the music with both arms, simultaneously.

Spacial awareness-
This is when one must be aware of the space that they are dancing in, they must be aware of its boundaries and the area that their own bodies can cover. Knowing your surroundings can make traveling while dancing easier and helps you maintain direction. Practicing this also helps with stage performances or even auditions as one doesn't always receive the opportunity to perform on stage before the actual performance day. We need to be able to adapt to different and new spaces fast.

Dynamic content:
This could refer to the variety of movement in ones choreography. Evident shifts in level, weight and textures make ones dance dynamic rather than limited to a certain kind of movement.

Rhythmic accuracy:
Although all dancers perceive music differently and there is no right or wrong, understanding the rhythm and basic musicality of a song is a must. One must not forget that the music is what moves us and depicting the rhythm in our dancing is of paramount importance.

Temporal clarity:
This element is simply the clarity that one has over the tempo of the song. Going off tempo as a dancer can tend to look odd and unsettling, hence, we need to be able to not just understand but maintain the tempo of a song in our dance. With this, understanding the counts in relation to a song is also very important.

Performance skills.

Focus:
The ability to not get distracted while performing is of immense importance as maintaining focus enables one to perform as closely as well to their rehearsals. Even in classes focus is required to get most out of the information given to you.

Projection:
Making sure that one is projecting their dance performance as it is to be projected is required. From the facial expressions to the movements and their accents, they all come together and harmonize if projected equally.

Phrasing:
Putting steps together to create a piece, just like putting words together for a sentence, however, its more like putting words together and singing them with certain accents and emphasis. In dance we follow the music and place steps according to that and the phrasing too can vary along with the song.

stylistic integrity:
I believe that embracing your own style is as important as adapting to others styles when dancing in a group. Stylistic integrity is the ability to be honest with your own individuality in movement rather than trying very hard to be like someone else. It is true that imitation is another way to pick up the body language of a particular form of dance but when one reaches a level high enough to embrace their own style, it should be done honestly. One should explore what their bodies can do naturally and honestly as well in order to find their style.

Relationship to other performers:
Observing the people you dance with is as important as trying to do a choreography the best that one can; when working with a partner or group, looking united is important and that comes with building bonds, maybe even just through feeling each others energy when one dances. Building chemistry for art is important and can produce incredible results while even building bonds.

Relationship to the audience:
Maintaining eye contact and even just being open to sharing your energy and aura with the audience can inspire an audience or help them connect to you
