In the beginning Ethan lets his "voice" talk for him. He was shy and had a "pathetic voice". Throughout the book, he learned how to speak for himself and others using his real voice. He no longer fully relied on his powers to help him. The people around him have noticed too. I think they author was trying to tell readers that your actions do have consequences. Every problem that has arisen in the book was because of a choice that someone made. He was warning us of the dangers that can come from your actions. I can't really find any aspects of a Dystopian society. It hasn't really shown anything about that. But their are people in the book trying to capture the main characters. They are trying to change the way the see eachother. In my book, they all only see the flaws, not the good things about each other. I think that they will be successful and they will see the good in each other by the end of the book.

The characters in my book have a sense of their own morals and they always stray away from them. But, like Odysseus, they always go back to where they started.

The protagonist, Ethan is running away from the cops, including his mom, and a gang that is trying to kill him. He is encountering a lot of roadblocks, people keep on recognizing him and calling him out. He just runs away and escapes.

Friendship is a common idea in my novel. Since they got back together, they are all a little weary of Ethan. It makes the not trusting of him.
