We went down the bay house that he and his wife had on the Chesapeake Bay. Fred gave my sister and I "hiccup" pills (basically pure sugar candies). Really, they were Necco wafers, but it was an excuse to eat candy throughout the day, so it was great. Fred also taught my sister and I how to eat crabs, including teaching us about the "crab lollipop" from a Blue crabs claw. It was also at his bay house that my sister and I buried two jelly fish, thinking they were dead. The two of them loved to try different foods.
