I'm choosing choice A. Yes she does have a tragic flaw. She is too focused on getting what she wants and is very self centered and evil. She is also manipulative because she eventually convinces Macbeth to go along with her plan. As for her gender I was surprised she was a female and acted that way because back in the medieval times woman were usually portrayed as nicer and didn't have as many rights as men. I though she would convince him not to kill the king instead of encouraging it. Over the course of the play she becomes paranoid and guilty like Macbeth.
-Asada

Choice B- Ambitions. You cant do what you want to get what you want is what i think one of the themes are in Macbeth. An example is Macbeth killed someone just so that he could become king and in the end he did not become king.- Bryanna Laughary

Yes I think that Lady Macbeth does have a tragic flaw. Her flaw is not like her husband, hers is manipulation. I say this because she talked her husband into killing someone that he didn't even want to kill. lady Macbeth gender affects her flaw because she is a female and they are fairly manipulative. i knot this because the text says that Lady Macbeth teaches him how to hide his real emotions and it tell us that she gives crazy and unrealistic examples in order to make her point proven.

Shakespeare showed this when Macbeth killed someone in order to get what he wanted which was to become king and at the end of the day he didn't get what he wanted.

Lady Macbeth's tragic flaw is think ambition just like her husband. But she is viewed differently because shes a woman and everyone feels like women are emotional and weak, they felt like murder was a mans job. Lady Macbeth soon drove herself to guilt and insanity, began sleepwalking and dreaming that there was literal blood on her hands. It wasn't because she was a woman, but because she had a conscience.- Ohoneste
