HR staff have brief about the company structure. After that, HR staff took me have a tour in parkson. I realize that parkson is a big retailer and their environment very comfortable.
Parkson has four floors : fourth floor is kids department and household, third floor is man and customers service, Second floor is cosmetic Lower ground floor is ladies department. The people in Parkson are very friendly. Because of the first day intern, that not much work to handle up , just end up with briefing and learned each of departments here before given several task by HR staff...task will be given tomorrow..✌

That is afternoon shift. After assigned to customer service. My supervisor asked me to record the details those who redeem their bonus link card & parkson card. After that, my SV refer the guideline today and give a module standard telephone greeting and paging script to ensure all calls are attended in well manner. My SV trained me the tone of answer and sentences when phone is ringing. My SV also explained they have two types of sentences, one is internal calls and another one is external calls. But I haven't try before to attend the calls. In addition my SV ask me to memorize the internal exchange number to department to another department. My SV asked me to try for paging but I still lack of confidence. My SV advise me to more fluently, be confident the tone when we talk to a person through the phones and also paging. Finally, I practice by my own but have to improve more. After that, My SV took me have a tour in Parkson to introduce me again to supervisor, executive
staffs and etc. This is because at customer service we have to well known each of person position, information and everything. It;s important to understand color temperature, sizes, length, output pattern and etc. LED bulbs are commonly used for office lighting and can be used standard ceiling heights including storage ares. LED bulbs are an energy efficient replacement for fluorescent light bulbs. They also boast better color rendering, require less maintenance and burn out less frequently. Most of the customers depends on color temperature. they're only 3 different color temperature which is warm white, cool day light, day light. The size would be E14 smallest size and E27 biggest size. They've two types of length which is shorter( Genie) and longest( essential). Other than that, for PLC bulb 2P, there are energy efficient lamps with a 2pin socket with a color temperature of 18/840 will provide a day light, 18/865 provide a cool day light, 18/827 provide warm day light. Product knowledge is very important because we need to explain with the customers. I found that dealing with customer is not a easy job because every customer has own behavior. In addition,my executive are very patiently to teach us about the product knowledge.

The challenge I faced in this department is we need to remember the entire household goods item and able to explain the product to customers. Example sometime based on the product customer may ask me for the recommendation, ingredient and made from which country. Since Parkson have so many goods and it take me some time to remember and I do record in notes.
