Many different methods of segregation or discrimination. African Americans were not respected in the late 19th century.

What conditions does this identity face? Discrimintation, they get treated unfairly, and they don't have full power in government.

How does your identity feel about the government? African Americans didn't have almost any representation in government in this time period so they didn't really like the government.

How does your identity feel about the economy? In the late 1800s it was very hard for African Americans to get well paying jobs and succeed in society so the economy probably didn't treat them very well and it most likely lead to them disliking the economy

The main issues my identity faces are the abusive use of lynching in the south and the amount of lynchings are increasing because of false criminalization.

What conditions does this identity face?
The conditions the identities face are not good because they are concerned about their life and families life because of the amounts of lynchings that were occurring.

How does your identity feel about the government?
The identity feels like the government is not helping them and they are being attacked without consequenseces for those people that are lynching them.

How does your identity feel about the economy?
African Americans feel like they are separate from the economy because of the segregation occurring in the south.
