In New York there is a sixth grade girl  named Miranda her life is okay but stuff all starts to change when. Her best friend Sal decides not to be friends with her after he gets punched in the stomach by a bully and she is very confused. Now she has to walk home alone past the laughing man witch is scary. So she has to make some new friends witch is difficult and that brings a lot of Drama! Meanwhile some mysterious person is sending her creepy stalker notes this is very wired. 
I liked this book a lot and recommend it.

Two girls, Daisy Wells and Hazel Wong, want to be detectives and try to find out who poisoned Mr. Curtis. Daisy lives in a big house with her family in England. For her birthday her aunt, uncle, and a governess for Daisy and Hazel come, and Daisy's mother and father are already there with the cook, maid and butler. Hazel comes over for her birthday along with her bother and his friend. When everybody is having tea, someone puts poison in Mr .Curtis's tea cup and he dies of arsenic poisoning.
