My mom is typically the first to get information, especially if it is information about other family members. When she gets this information, she will typically bring it to me and my grandma first, and if not to me, then to my sister.

Like I stated previously, if my sister does not get information directly from my mom, I tell her because I like to keep her in the loop. My sister and I tell our boyfriends many things )with our mom's permission if it is personal family info.), so once my sister knows, I then tell my boyfriend.

That is pretty much it for how my family passes information. We have a pretty small circle, so there aren't many of us to share information with. We all love to "spill tea" and share things, but only if they are allowed to be shared. Between my grandma, my mom, my sister, and I, we are all extremely nosy, so we like to know what is up with everyone.

My parents are divorced, so it is not too often that we share information with our dad about our moms side, because it really is not relevant. However, there are times when we have to, for example if someone on my mom's side is diagnosed with a serious illness, we tell our dad because it impacts us emotionally, so it is important for him to know.

I feel like our process of sharing information is fairly normal, the parent is kind of the center of it, they often receive information first, and most likely share it with the most people.
