I have got a Master's degree in architecture. I lived in Tehran the capital of Iran which is located in north-central part of Iran at the foot of the Alburz mountain range. In Belfast, I live in Malone Road with my brother and his family. I am interested in art, music, and sport. My hobbies are drawing, playing a musical instrument, swimming and martial art.
As I mentioned before I am an architect and my major in university before coming to Ulster university was architecture but I am going to pursue my study in urban planning and resilience city to be an urban planner. I have chosen Ulster University because of the following reasons: first, Ulster University is known for having an open, friendly and informal atmosphere that is combined with a reputation for research and innovative courses. This is important for me because it would make me feel more comfortable, relaxed, and excited in continuing my education in a new country. Second, the courses in Ulster University is designed by employability in mind which means it will ensure that I am industry ready after completion of my education. The fact that the courses are designed to prepare me for the real-world environment is a key factor in my decision-making, and in Ulster university, 92% of their graduates are employed or in further study within 6 months of graduating. Third, Ulster University is one of the most affordable universities in the UK and they already offered me a 2000 GBP discount/scholarship on my tuition fee.
I chose the city planning course because it would make me a well rounded person who is not only an architect but also a city planner. This gives me a broader perspective.
One of my biggest goals is to be a well-known architect in space structure and be a professor at Harvard University.
