1. What are the outstanding properties of Hangul? One outstanding property is that the alphabet is based off of the shape of one’s mouth when pronouncing the sound. Also, this alphabet system allowed for widespread literacy in Korea

2. What are limitations of Hangul that Lee & Ramsey point out? One limitation is that everything is organized in syllables which makes it difficult to organize phrases alphabetically.
