I used to think that family engagement and family involvement were more similar, now I see how different they are - I have this knowledge, but it is important for me to share this information with my school and community - consistent communication is a great place to start - FE can look very different from Elementary-High School - reminder that just because are there, doesnt mean they are present - finding the time/thing/invite that allows folks to really engage and be present - what do we do with people once they are there, how do we make it worth everyone's time - things that feel really worth while tend to be FRC processes and having the parents be the one's to tell us what they want, this can be through the PAC or surveys or talk story etc
