For example, it may be against the law for the FBI to go in the house without a warrant, but if it is clear that someone's life is at risk, breaking the law won't matter if in the end a life is taken. At the same time, then good intentions would have to be defined and may even be deemed as good intentions without great thought. That's why making a decision should try to be between a couple people and not just one person being impulsive.
