If you could be fast off of first plate it didn't matter how accurate you were at tagging up at second base as long as you beat the pitch. In&nbsp;Weightlifting the faster you could move the bar the better chance you have at making the lift you need. </div>]]></description>

To provide a counter point to Alex, in weightlifting (and other strength sports), if the bar moves out of its ideal trajectory, the lift is likely to be missed. I am biased, though, as every missed lift I've had in competition was due to my failure to "catch" the bar in the correct spot (both in the snatch and the split jerk).</div>]]></description>

If you are waiting on customers there is always the pressure to get the given request done as quickly as possible, and while that may be important in some settings, every boss/manager I have had has always emphasized that accuracy is the most important thing in order to please the customer and avoid much bigger consequences that may come from favoring speed over accuracy. </div>]]></description>

Someone who is fast and inaccurate would still be completing activities at the same pace as someone who is a little slower but never has to do an activity twice.
