Hi! My name is Lorena Mercado. I'm from Veracruz, Ver. However, I have lived in Xalapa for 20 years. I am interested in the different ways of living and perceiving life around the world.
This is the reason why I study (and teach) English Language and keep learning about others, specially Japanase and Chinese Language and Asian Culture in general. I expect I am able to convey this enthusiasm for different cultures and languages as well.

Hi!! My name is Jazmin Ponce Moya and I'm 21 years old.
I'm from Fortin de las Flores, Ver. I have lived here almost all my life. I'm a student and I'm a dancer, not profesionally but I hope to become one. I love listening to music and of course dancing to it, I also enjoy watching series and movies, I could spend hours on that and never get bored.
The reason for studying this career is very simple, I like the English language. Almost all my life I have been in contact with the language since my aunt studied the same and since she told me about the career in general, it caught my attention.

Also I like ecology so I try to do as much as posible to have a more ecofriendly lifestyle. Although it´s a little difficult, especially when my family´s not so into it, but I do my best.
I decided to study this carreer because I´ve been learning English since I was very little and a few years ago I realized that it would make me happy to have an English related job. Hi, my name is Rafael Gómez Narváez and I'm 23 years old. I live in Xalapa, and I'm studying English in the UV. I love to spend my time listening to music, watching anime, playing videgames, drawing, writing and reading some stuff (specially horror and drama) and searching info about animals and nature.
I really expect to improve my speaking and reading skills during this EE. To be honest, I'm sure I have a good pronunciation, but I'm still speaking and reading too slow; if I want to do it faster I have mistakes, so I hope to get enough fluency by practicing in this course.
My reason why I'm studying this career is because English has accompained me since my early childhood. I really enjoyed listening to my favorite songs in that language, and some years after translating them!
Nowadays, I have lots of English friends and I love the way I get to communicate with them, I'm also sure that this language will open the doors to lots of opportunities to get variety of jobs as a teacher, translator, a travel agent, etc.
I'm totally convinced that English is a synonym of success.

I´ve lived here since I was born.
I´m currently a student and in my free time I started going to the gym, it´s a bit boring because before I always exercised dancing, besides dancing I love listening to music especially hiphop and kpop, I also like watching movies, plays and Korean dramas.
What I expect from this course is to improve my English skills and be more confident when I write, read or speak English.

Hi everyone ¡ My name is Jesús Alfredo Carvajal Ortiz and i´m 21 one years old.
I´m from Xalapa, Veracruz. I have lived here the most of my life, only my first 3 years i lived in coatepec.
Actually due to the pandemic i´m only a student but when there was none of this, i trained for about 4 hours of American football and i hope that when this decreases, i will do it again.
Other of my favorite hobbies would be watching movies and playing video games, neither type in specific in both, i´m always open to new experiences.
What i expect from this EE is to improve my grammar since sometimes it is quite difficult for me, but i know that i will learn a lot here.
I decided to study this career, to begin to complement it with another one that would be communication, and when i´m ready maybe get a job in a television station or something like that, either inside or outside of Mexico.

Hi I´m Ana, I’m 21 years old . I live in Atotonilco de Tula, Hidalgo with my sister. I´m a student, I don´t have a job right now, but I want to search for one when we can go back to school. I hope that in this educational experience I can learn how to properly express myself through writing and be able to read some books to improve my reading and writing skills. I decided to study this career because I love English language, I’ve always enjoyed the process of learning new things about this language and feeling that I´m becoming better and better at it.
Music and riding my bike are some of the things that I love the most. I love to go to the forest in my bike and breathe fresh air. I also love to read, I love cooking, dancing and singing (even though I really can´t). Another of my favourite things to do is swimming. I used to train regularly in high school. Hi everyone! my name is Dana, I'm 19 years old, I live in Teocelo with my family, it's a town not far from Xalapa.
At the moment I'm just a student at the UV.
I have different interests, I like art, I paint and draw since I can remember, just as a hobby, I also like the world of make-up. Baking and cooking is something I learnt since the pandemic started. I like music a lot, and in the picture are my three favourite singers. Other basic things about me are that I like cats and dogs, I'm a pisces and I like to watch anime.
From this experience I hope to be able to develop my skills to communicate with other people in English and to improve my writing, as I haven't had the opportunity to do it 100%.

With regard to reading and writing in English, I continue to be impressed day by day by the listening and reading comprehension that I develop, not being the case with writing and speaking, aspects in which I cannot convey what I think, want, and intend say in a more appropriate, coherent, and cohesive way, being a factor of attention to structure the fundamental bases of the language.

This is the second Educational Program that I am taking, the first is the Mathematics Degree, I know, a radical change.
