Many citizens of Salem during the 1660s had beliefs of satn possessing men and women, or even children by biting them or casting a spell. If anything wrong happened in their life, like getting sick or hurt, they thought it was stan possessing or taking over them. In order to find out if they are actually on with satn, they will have a devil bite mark or scratches.  They will also exhibit many strange symptom.
